Approved by Bureau for private post-secondary education under the California private postsecondary education act of 2009 and title 5. Training Shelter Dogs program is approved by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) for 8 CEU credits toward CPDT re-certification.

However, hands-on section of program is available in Los Angeles California, Manitoba Canada, New York City New York, and many other 400 locations across the US and Canada.
