Foundation of Argosy University:
The Argosy University was founded in 2001. The foundation of Argosy University was laid on the basis of merger of three separate educational institutions.
  1. American School of Professional Psychology(founded in early 1970s)
  2. The University of Sarasota which had above 30 years of experience in providing educational services.
  3. The Medical Institute of Minnesota (established in 1961).
Based on this foundation, the Argosy University bears the honor of having many campuses across US and it offers online degree programs as well.

Flexible Learning Options:
The Argosy University provides flexible learning options to the students so that the demands of family, work and education could be balanced. The Argosy University offers a diverse range of degrees in order to cater the needs of busy lives of students. Evening Classes and weekend courses are also offered in order to foster the flexible learning environment at Argosy University. Following are some of the features of Flexible learning options provided by Argosy University.
  • Campus Learning: The Argosy University offers the students for campus learning at 28 locations. This provides the students with a reasonable choice to opt for the most feasible campus location.
  • Blended option: In order to create a personalized experience of education, the Argosy University provides the blend campus and online learning facility. This feature is likely to foster the flexible learning as well.
  • Distance education: The Argosy University provides the facility of distance education. This includes a blend of online learning along with the face to face interaction in the campus. This requires that the students attend an intensive 3 days educational and learning session at the campus including no more than one weekend per semester. This option becomes a source of attraction for the students from all over the country. However, this facility is available at Sarasota, Florida location only.
  • Online learning: The online learning programs of Argosy University are meant to provide a freedom to students for the time and location in order to attend the classes. This option is likely to enhance the flexibility of learning for the students at Argosy University.
