Dr. Mildred T. Bryan named it as Bryan Stenotype School in the beginning and it started its services with one class-room and three students.
Based on the vision of Dr. Mildred T. Bryan, the institution has developed with a focus on student and employer based principles of excellence.
In 2005, a new college campus was opened in California. New learning programs based on the mission and legacy of the Bryan College were commenced at this campus. Recently, the Bryan College, Los Angeles has gained the status of university.
Following are the purposes of accreditations:
Individualized support is provided to the students before graduation in order to assist them to figure out an effective job search plan. This also includes career-building tools, interviewing skills and resume writing. Mock interviews are also conducted by the staff members in order provide an interview experience to the students.
The college holds belief on the life-long education. So, it offers many refresher courses to the passed out candidates and these refresher courses are conferred without any tuition-fee.
Qualitative factors such as personal growth and student’s attitude are also permitted to be taken into consideration by the instructors in order to determine the final grades of the students.

The college initiated as a stenography school and it is regarded as one of the oldest stenography learning institutions in United States.Dr. Mildred T.
