The college America is committed to help students to graduate and assist them in getting better jobs within less time period.

A brief history of the institution:

College America, California College San Diego and College America, Stevens-Henagar College (including Independence University) are parts of collegiate group of campuses.

The College America came into existence in the mid-1960s and now savors the honor of having multiple campuses in Cheyenne, Wyoming; Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Flagstaff and Phoenix, Arizona.

1971- In order to serve the field of respiratory therapy, California College San Diego was established. Since 2003 the college has expanded its educational services and added degree programs in technology, business and medical specialties while maintaining the respiratory therapy program.

In September 1891, Stevens-Henagar College was established in Ogden, Utah. It bears the history of more than 100 years of providing services to the students and employers. Campuses are located in Boise, Idaho Falls (branch of College America, Flagstaff – Main), Idaho, Logan, Nampa, Salt Lake City, Ogden, Lehi, Utah, Layton and Provo.

Institutional Accreditation:

Accreditation is reckoned as a standard against which the schools, colleges and universities are evaluated in context of the quality of education, and the operating practices.

In order to confirm the high standards of educational excellence, the accreditation agencies continuously evaluate the integrity, continuous improvement, accountability and open communication of the institutions which reside on their rosters.

The accreditation instills confidence in the educational community and institutions' constituencies. In order to evaluate the transfers of credit and applications for postgraduate study, the colleges and universities also rely on the accreditation status.

College America savors the honor of being accredited by ACCSC (Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges).

College Programs for Working Adults:

At College America, the learning programs are structured to foster the real-world skills and knowledge which are important for beginning and advancing a career in today’s marketplace. The College America has six convenient campuses in Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming which are committed to provide assistance to the students so that they could attain their career goals.

Various employers impose a requirement of college degrees in order to promote the individuals to the senior positions. The programs offered by College America are designed to enhance the skills which are needed to get ahead.

College America — Online Department:

The College America’s affiliated college - Stevens-Henagar College Salt Lake City/Murray confers online programs.  Stevens-Henagar online department was established in 1999 and it savors the reputation of nurturing professional and competent graduates.

The online learning offers the same programs, textbooks and services as campus-based learning. However access to these resources is available 24/7 with an increased flexibility in indigenous requirements and study timing schedules.

Career Services:

The career services staff of College America is committed to provide the career-related skills to the students and graduates. The career services staff offers assistance to attain a career in accordance with the degree completed.

Primarily the career services of College America are segregated in two folds.

1. Assist the students in starting their careers
2. Assist the students in advancing in their chosen fields.

Career Services Job Board has been created by the college where the job postings from major employment search engines are made available to the students. Links to the specialized job search websites are also available on the job board.

Laptops for Students

In order to foster the success of the students from the beginning, laptops are issued to them. The laptops become a source of completing the education in a flexible way through hybrid learning.

A large number of students complete their educational courses though online learning. The laptops help in the accomplishment of online learning goals of the students.
