The College America came into existence in the mid-1960s and now savors the honor of having multiple campuses in Cheyenne, Wyoming; Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Flagstaff and Phoenix, Arizona.
1971- In order to serve the field of respiratory therapy, California College San Diego was established. Since 2003 the college has expanded its educational services and added degree programs in technology, business and medical specialties while maintaining the respiratory therapy program.
In September 1891, Stevens-Henagar College was established in Ogden, Utah. It bears the history of more than 100 years of providing services to the students and employers. Campuses are located in Boise, Idaho Falls (branch of College America, Flagstaff – Main), Idaho, Logan, Nampa, Salt Lake City, Ogden, Lehi, Utah, Layton and Provo.
In order to confirm the high standards of educational excellence, the accreditation agencies continuously evaluate the integrity, continuous improvement, accountability and open communication of the institutions which reside on their rosters.
The accreditation instills confidence in the educational community and institutions' constituencies. In order to evaluate the transfers of credit and applications for postgraduate study, the colleges and universities also rely on the accreditation status.
