Credit Transfer
Courses from nationally or regionally accredited institutes are handled differently. Transfer Credit requires a minimum of grade 'C', course should not be remedial or pre-college or developmental, course number should be 100 or higher. Maximum of 94 credits can be transferred for 124 credits BS programs. Additional credits can be achieved from examination (e.g. CLEP/DANTES/Advance Placement), American Council on Education (ACE), military education and service, and assembly of a life credit portfolio.

The university provides accommodations to more than 3000 students in the residence halls and academic facilities on residential campus in Marion, Indiana. The university covers various subjects from arts to ministry to theology and offers more than 80 majors.
At regional educational centers in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio, about 12000 adult learners attend their classes. The university also offers online degree programs such as Associate, Bachelors and Maters degrees.
Owing to the enrollment of students exceeding 15000, the Indiana Wesleyan University is regarded as the largest private university in Indiana.
The Indiana Wesleyan University is committed to equip the succeeding generation of learners to hone such skills which are needed to cope up with the challenges of changing circumstances.
The university also confers its educational programs nationally through extensive online infrastructure.
The university is dedicated to prepare every student to become a source of brining change to the world. The accomplishment of this goal is based on engaging the students into an integrated experience of intellectual challenge and leadership development.
The university encourages the students towards academic excellence. It equips the students in a manner so that they could succeed in their vocations. The university provides mentoring to the students for leadership and preparing them for services.
The Student Development office provides support for mentoring services, student activities, student conduct programs and student group advising. The campus bookstore is a home for various textbooks, trade books, cards and gifts. The university also provides on-site post office and gaming room.
The outdoor wilderness learning program offers rock climbing, caving and other trips. It also provides a leadership initiative program. The campus police office provides assistance for lockouts, emergencies, bike registrations and parking regulations.
The library services include private study rooms, research assistance and 24/7 access to research databases.
In the fall of 2008, the Indiana Wesleyan University enrolled 882 full-time, first-time bachelor’s freshmen and seven part-time, first-time bachelor’s freshmen. Out of these candidates 679 and six students respectively were still enrolled in fall 2009.
