Mission:

The International Academy of Design and Technology is a creative and supportive learning community. The institute offers the educational programs that are structured to nurture the students for professional opportunities in the fields of technology and design.

Accomplishment of mission

The accomplishment of the missions of different campuses of International Academy of Design and Technology is based on the following

History of International Academy of Design and Technology:

In 1977, at Merchandize Mart in Chicago, the International Academy of Merchandising and Design, Ltd was founded by Clem Stein, Jr. The institute started its journey as a private educational college.

In 1984: The Tampa, Fla., campus was opened which offered associate of applied science degree programs.

In 1999, the institute changed its name to International Academy of Design and in 2000, the words ‘& technology’ were added to the name of the institution in order to give a reflection of the addition of technology programs.

In 2001, a branch campus was opened by International Academy of Design and Technology in Orlando, Fla. With the passage of time, the institution opened other campuses in Troy-Mich., Henderson-Nev., The Nashville-Tenn., Seattle, San Antonio-Texas. Sacramento- Calif.

In 2009, the International Academy of Design and Technology-Online savored the honor of being approved by ACICS to operate as a separate entity.

Student services:

In order to keep the faculty, alumni and students connected with each other, the International Academy of Design and Technology strives to be creative in many ways. At International Academy of Design and Technology the students do not get access to the teachers, classmates and professionals only,  access is also provided to services and resources that are likely to be helpful for the students during and after graduation. 

Following are the services and opportunities which are provided to the students at International Academy of Design and Technology.

Online Communities:
The school provides an opportunity to communicate via online communities such as Facebook, Twitter and Linked In. the students may also get access to the IADT’s online communities.

Career Services:
The career services professionals of International Academy of Design and Technology are dedicated to provide assistance to prepare the students for professional future in this competitive job-market. Career-services are provided to the students both during and after the completion of course.

Alumni
The Alumni Association of International Academy of Design and Technology provides an opportunity to the students to get lifelong access to the creative professionals. The growing network of the institute provides help to stay connected to the peers, friends and mentors.

Student Housing
The International Academy of Design and Technology also provides housing facilities to its students as the campuses of the institution are located in the exciting cities and contain various opportunities for the living arrangements of the students.
