National College offers educational credentials from Diplomas to Master’s Degrees to develop each student culturally, socially and intellectually. The institute shows interest in each student to make them proficient in the disciplines which are deemed necessary for success.
The National College holds on to the purposes of providing education to the men and women for duties and responsibilities of business life and to assist them for placement in the positions that may become a source of ample career advancements.
The college attempts to instill in the students an ability of effectively adapting to the challenges and demands of contemporary businesses. National College aims to have staff, faculty and resources that prepare students for accomplishments in the fields of employment opportunities.
Following are the objectives of National College.
The college was founded by J. A. Trimmer in Roanoke, Virginia in 1886. Initially the institution was known as National Business College. Mr. Trimmer conceived the college as a leader in the delivery of business education not only in Virginia but throughout the southeastern United States.
In 1896, E.M. Coulter came to the college as an instructor and he savored the honor of becoming the College President in 1901 and he served the college until his retirement in 1946. In the last quarter of 20th century, the college was expanded with seven campuses in Virginia.
In 1990s the network of college was increased with the addition of a six campus Kentucky College of Business. This college was established by Mary F. Crump in 1941 in Lexington, Kentucky. Later in 2001, Fugazzi College’s Lexington campus was combined with Kentucky College of Business.
In 2003 there was an addition of a campus in Knoxville, Tennessee and in 2004 Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio campuses became the part of National College.
In order to confirm the high standards of educational excellence, the accreditation agencies continuously evaluate the integrity, continuous improvement, accountability and open communication of the institutions which reside on their rosters.
The accreditation instills confidence in the educational community and institutions' constituencies. In order to evaluate the transfers of credit and applications for postgraduate study, the colleges and universities also rely on the accreditation status.
The National College is majorly accredited by the following to award master's degrees, bachelor's degrees, associate degrees, and diplomas. However, the college also holds other approvals and authorizations.
