The PC AGE Career Institute was established by Zafar Khizer and Arifa Khizer in 1991. Zafar Khizer bears the honor of holding Master’s degree in Computer and Information Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). He is also an author of 17 computer books. Arifa Khizer holds the degrees of BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from NJIT.
PC AGE Career Institute was one of the first institutions in New Jersey to offer training in IT certification to the working adults. The foundation of the institution includes excellent team of employees, excellent reputation, training curriculum, technical expertise and a copyrighted scientifically validated computer aptitude test.
In 2005, the American Council on Education (ACE) gave recommendation of 43 semester credit hours for Internetwork Engineering program of PC AGE Career Institute. Later in 2008, the Program Review Team from Thomas Edison State College (TESC) also recommended 43 semester credits for Internetwork Engineering courses. Owing to an articulation agreement, 39 credits earned at PC AGE can be transferred from TESC for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Accreditation is reckoned as a standard against which the schools, colleges and universities are evaluated in context of the quality of education, and the operating practices.
In order to confirm the high standards of educational excellence, the accreditation agencies continuously evaluate the integrity, continuous improvement, accountability and open communication of the institutions which reside on their rosters.
The accreditation instills confidence in the educational community and institutions' constituencies. In order to evaluate the transfers of credit and applications for postgraduate study, the colleges and universities also rely on the accreditation status.
