Sterling College makes endeavors for the excellence in learning by adopting various learning approaches. The curriculum of Sterling College is structured in a way that provides broad educational experience to the students. This educational experience is likely to assist the students to contribute to the fast changing world.HISTORY OF STERLING COLLEGE
The institution commenced its educational services as Cooper Memorial College in 1887. The curriculum at that time consisted of four majors. It also had a preparatory department that was meant for providing high school courses to the students in their homes.The Sterling College foresees the future with confidence and the community, friends and thousands of alumni become a source of support for the college for continuing its tradition.

The transition to the college is likely to be challenging for many students because the students face new people and new expectations. The academic advising is provided to all full-time students of Sterling College. Each full-time student is assigned with a faculty member. The academic advisor provides assistance with academic schedules and monitors the academic progress of the students.ACADEMIC SUPPORT CENTER
The academic support center is located in Mabee Library. The center provides assistance to the students in order to enhance their learning experience at Sterling College.
