The goal of the college is to foster success for the students through career-oriented programs and development of communication, critical thinking and decision making skills.
In 1959, the name of the institution was changed to Stevens-Henager College. The main campus of the college is in Ogden. In 1978, a branch campus was established in Provo, Utah. In June 2011, a campus of the college was established in St George.

HISTORY OF THE COLLEGE
The Stevens Henager College was established in 1891, in Ogden, Utah by Professor J A Smith. Initially the name of the institution was Intermountain Business College. The basic purpose of the college was to provide commercial education to the students and place them in the business positions. For the following 68 years the institution was known as Smithsonian Business College.In 1959, the name of the institution was changed to Stevens-Henager College. The main campus of the college is in Ogden. In 1978, a branch campus was established in Provo, Utah. In June 2011, a campus of the college was established in St George.
